Ann Romney to Give Convention Speech at 10 p.m. Tonight
Belmont mom gets prominent role at Republican Convention.
A South Cottage Road resident will be giving a speech on all the major network and cable television channels tonight.
It helps to know that she's married to one of the candidates for President of the United States.
OK, it's Ann Romney if you couldn't guess by now.
The wife of Mitt Romney will be the star attraction at the first full night of the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
"A spirited Ann Romney arrived in Tampa late Tuesday morning, expressing excitement at her opportunity to introduce her husband to millions of Americans," said a CBS News article.
The article noted the Romney's left from Bedford's Hanscom Field (which is why Trapelo Road was free and clear this morning without the presence of Secret Service and Massachusetts State Police.)
The schedule provided by the Republican Convention notes that Romney will be speaking just after 10 p.m. preceding NJ Gov. Chris Christie.
Belmont Patch should also receive Wednesday what it was like on the convention floor listening to Romney's speech by Elizabeth Mahoney, a Massachusetts delegate in Tampa.

Just a quick word about commenting on any subject including political candidates whether it is Mitt Romney, Barack Obama or for someone running for dog catcher: You can make your point for or against a politician's views and policy - even in a quite pointed manner - without being insulting to someone's religion, personal upbringing or status in a marriage. Leave those on Breitbart or MSNBC, not here for they will be deleted. I challenge everyone to bring civility to your arguments or comments, not lazy hate mongering.

For those of you scoring at home, let's review the final totals for Brandt:
1. Hates women who choose to stay at home and raise a family
2. Hates Mormons and their church
3. Hates Mitt Romney
4. Hates successful American business people
5. Hates the people who pay the vast majority of the taxes in this country
6. Thinks God is making underwear choices for us
7. Thinks there still is a middle class in Obama's America
BTW, Mrs. Romney gave a warm and engaging speech. She will make us all proud as the next First Lady.
