Belmont League of Women Voters Release Online Voters Guide

Get all the information you need about who's running in the Town election via the web.

The Belmont League of Women Voters Guide to the 2013 Town Election is now avaliable online in addition to a print version being sent to every household this week.

The online version includes information about each candidate on the ballot seeking election to town-wide office and onto the Town Meeting.

The League contacted all the candidates with the following question:

Belmont citizens look to their elected officials for fair and responsible solutions to the issues facing their community. Please choose two issues which you consider important to the future of the town and present your ideas for managing them effectively.

Responses were limited to 70 words and printed verbatim as written by the candidates. 

In addition to the candidates, the League's Guide provides information on where to vote, information on the town's budget, a calendar and other information including when to vote: Tuesday, April 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
