Belmont League Resets Candidate's Night
New date is less than two weeks from primary election.
The Belmont League of Women Voters will be holding a Candidates' Night on Monday, Aug. 27 for all candidates who are contested in the Primary Election on Sept. 6.
The event will be held at the Chenery Middle School, 95 Washington St. in Belmont at 7:30 p.m.
The races to be included are:
• Representative in Congress, Fifth District on the Republican ballot;
• Representative in the General Court, 24th Middlesex District on the Democratic ballot;
• Governor's Council, 3rd District on the Democratic ballot; and
• Register of Deeds, Middlesex Southern District on the Democratic ballot.

Seems like you heard about a possible date before it was official. This is the only published date, and the only date candidates were invited to. The other possible date had a Belmont conflict.
