This season has been one of continuing frustration for the Belmont High School Boys' Lacrosse team, going winless while losing four games by a single goal.
And on Tuesday, the Marauders was hosting the 13-win Reading High School, ranked 13th in the state, which beat Belmont, 13-3, earlier in the year.
But it turned out that all those thirteens came back to haunt Reading yesterday as Marauders forward Ben Mosca scored five goals and Belmont's long-suffering defense stood up for the game's entire 48 minutes to shot down the Rockets, 9-8.
