The design for the new Joey’s Park incorporates ideas offered by Winn Brook Elementary School students. The students met with architects from the firm Play By Design in September during a special Design Day.

That month, approximately 1,000 walkers raised more than $50,000 to build the new playground which is scheduled to be constructed on the Columbus Day weekend 2013.
