3. LexFUN! Halloween Parade
Where/When: Battle Green, Massachusetts Ave & Bedford St, Lexington; 8:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29
Why Go: Little witches, goblins, and superheroes and their families will parade in costume with musical instruments around the Lexington Battle Green and then there will be Halloween crafts. Folks can bring a canned food and/or financial donation to enjoy a bake sale to support the Lexington Food Pantry.
2. Pilgrim Pumpkin Patch Sale
Where/When: Pilgrim Congregational Church, 55 Coolidge Ave., Lexington, Friday and Saturday10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Why Go: The great pumpkin patch only happens once a year. Rows of great pumpkins will be there waiting to be transformed into glowing jack-o'-lanterns for Halloween night.
Pricing: Cost of pumpkins vary.
3. Plymouth Nursery School Rummage Sale
Where/When: Plymouth Nursery School, 582 Pleasant St, Saturday 9 a.m.
Why Go: A trove of all things wearable will be located in the nursery basement along with just-out-of- the-oven cookies and treats.
4. Musical Story Program for Kids
Where/When: Powers Music School, 396 Concord Ave., Saturday 5 p.m.
Why Go: Kid's will go on a school tour with a musically inclined “kool kat” during the presentation of “Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes."
Pricing: Free, contact the school to reserve a spot.
5. Annual Halloween Graveyard Tour
Where/When: Lexington Depot, 15 Depot Sq., Lexington, Saturday 6:30p.m.
Why Go: Walk among scary skeletons guided by the light of lanterns. Characters dressed in period clothing will tell the stories of Lexington's Old Burial Ground.
