If your morning sprints to Sofra Bakery and Café, located at 1 Belmont St. on the Cambridge and Watertown lines, have left you wondering what ingredients compromise their cheese laced pies, Persian spiced dishes, honey sweetened cookies and granola join the award winning chef and co-founder Ana Sortun to discover the culinary skills behind the cozy café’s modern interpretations of Turkish, Greek and Lebanese dishes.
On April 25 Soturn will even share those mysterious spice blends that make dishes like lamb kefta, cheese puffs with Persian spiced carrot jam, and roasted chicken with pistachio baharat memorable and keep food lovers coming back to the Arabic inspired café.
