I am writing to express my support for Dave Rogers as the next State Representative for the 24^th Middlesex District.

Since first meeting Dave, his insightfulness, grasp of the issues, and dedication have impressed me. Over the past months, Dave has knocked on thousands of doors in Belmont and across the district; this commitment to meeting voters is significant.  It shows that Dave takes the time and puts in the effort to learn what is important to members of our community.

What matters the most to me in choosing a candidate to support is not whether the person is from Belmont, is a man or a woman, or is younger or older. Rather, I want to be sure that he or she will be dedicated to moving the district forward and is prepared to take on the tough issues and make educated decisions.

I am confident that Dave is focused on both of these things. His background has prepared him well to work with other legislators and to find common ground and innovative solutions. His depth of knowledge in areas such as healthcare and green energy, as well as his work in the public sector, allow him to hit the ground running. He is not only committed to supporting local aid for education, he wants to review the distribution of local aid to ensure that our community receives the resources needed to best educate our children, including my own elementary-age child.

We all want our community to thrive. I believe that Dave’s vision and commitment will serve us well at the State House, and I consider Dave Rogers the best and most qualified candidate to be our next State Representative. Please join me in voting for him in the Democratic Primary on Thursday, Sept. 6.
