Tonight, State Rep. Will Brownsberger will be receiving the prestigious Better Government Competition Award from the Pioneer Institute in Boston for his proposal to simplify Massachusetts’ public pension system. 

In addition, he will be on the same stage as the keynote speaker, Texas Gov. Rick Perry. If you've seen today's front page of the Boston Herald or go on any of the political shows on cable and television, Perry is the hottest politician in the country, leading the polls of who should be the Republican nominee for the 2012 presidential election against President Obama (and dethroning Belmont's own Mitt Romney from the front runners spot.)
