It's hot. Really hot. And it is a real pain to deal with this heat: sweat running into your eyes, being uncomfortable just walking around and feeling blah as you've lost all energy to do anything.

But ... 

Before you curse the present, remember the past, as in six months ago when a foot of wind-driven snow came on the heels of weeks of stormy weather. 

Remember the cold? Numb feet, runny noses, heavy coats, large blankets, ice, ice and ice. 

Enjoy the warm weather, even when it hits records because dealing with triple digits temperatures is somewhat easier than double digits in inches of snow.
