Start the Holidays! It's Belmont Center's Turn on the Town at 6 p.m.
The 22nd edition of Belmont Center Business Association's opening of holiday season.
Join friends and family at Belmont's 22nd annual 'Turn on the Town' Holiday Celebration tonight from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Leonard Street in Belmont Center.
Tree-lighting will occur at 6:30 p.m. Santa will arrive by fire truck at 6:25 p.m. and stay to mingle with his Belmont friends before heading to Belmont Savings Bank where he will have his picture taken with children (and adults.)
Throughout the night, Belmont merchants will offer treats, glow necklaces, jingle bells and more. Festivities will include: holiday crafts, hot cocoa, and face painting, as well as cupcake decorating and visits by Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph. Musicians will carol in the streets.
The Belmont High School Madrigal Singers and Powers Music School will both be performing.
Turn on the Town is sponsored by the Belmont Center Business Association and organized by the Belmont Activities Committee.
