State Rep Debate Oct. 11 Live at 6 p.m.

Belmont Patch and Belmont Media Center will be hosting the hour-long debate with candidates for the 24th Middlesex District.

 

There will be two important televised debates this Thursday, Oct. 11. 

One will be between candidates who will discuss concerns of residents and how they will solve the major issues facing the public.

The other one is with Joe Biden and Paul Ryan.

The Belmont Media Center and Belmont Patch will be hosting a live debate between the candidates for the 24th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives beginning at 6 p.m.

Belmont Patch Editor Franklin Tucker and former Board of Selectmen member  Anne Marie Mahoney will moderate the debate between Democrat Dave Rogers, Republican Tomi Olson and Independent Jim Gammill at the Belmont Media Center.

The format will include opening statements, questions from the moderators and then questions each of the candidates will ask their opponents before a round of closing statements.

The broadcast will be screened live on Belmont cable and then re-broadcast during the week.
