Belmont's that was imposed on Feb. 14 after more than 50 inches of snow fell this winter has been lifted.
Tom Younger said the ban was ended "effectively today due to the warming weather and the recent rain."
The lifting means that vehicles can once again park on the even side of the streets effected by the ban, which included most side streets in town. Business centers and main roadways were not impacted by the restrictions.
"I appreciate the efforts of the public with their cooperation during the period of the parking ban as well as our various municipal departments," he said.
