Acupuncture benefits local veterans in Framingham, Massachusetts.

When prescription pills and traditional stress-fighting techniques are no longer doing the trick, some veterans turn to acupuncture for relief.

Christine Lee and her team of acupuncturists provide free care to area veterans every Saturday at a clinic in St. Andrew's Church that redirects negative energy using thin needles inserted into patients' ears.

Volunteers at Veterans Acupuncture Care MetroWest have private clinics in Natick, Framingham, Belmont, Southborough and Westborough. Patients flock to the clinic from across the MetroWest area.

These Acupuncturists do great work! If you know any Vets down on the South Shore who want access to this treatment, please connect them with my clinic, New England Natural Health Services. My Veteran's clinic is in Plymouth. www.nenhs.com or 774-283-2726.

There is a national not-for-profit to formally organize these services.

The only problem with Acupuncture Without Borders as the organization told me is that there are plenty of borders. I was told (I'm an Acupuncturist) by AWOB that I could only practice in the state in which I'm licensed. I thought that was a bit silly as how can they call themselves AWOB if I, as a member, cannot practice outside the state of MA?
