The first day of December, the Waldorf School of
Lexington opens its doors to welcome in the spirit of the season with fun for the family, including a marionette show, a Mummers Play, live music, delicious food, children activities, and many gift giving possibilities offered by Homespun (school store), local artisans from the New England region, and by the Waldorf Boutique with gently-used clothing and toys. More About Waldorf School of Lexington
Started by a group of parents in Cambridge in 1971, The Waldorf School of Lexington has been housed at the former Adams Elementary School since 1980. The new campus is situated between Massachusetts Avenue and the 185-acre Great Meadow.
As part of the Waldorf model of education, teachers at the school stay with the same students as they progress from 1st grade through graduation. The Waldorf School also offers nursery, kindergarten and after-school programs.
