 eel Drum Band\, PanJive\, performs on July 25th from 6 &ndash\; 8 pm. &n
 bsp\; Fifth District Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske will present the Summe
 r Community Concert to one of Long Beach&rsquo\;s most popular recreatio
 nal parks\, located at 5801 East Park Street\, Long Beach\, CA. &nbsp\; 
 &ldquo\;Sit back on your lawn chair\, close your eyes\, listen to the mu
 sic\, and just relax\, &ldquo\; says Councilwoman Schipske. &nbsp\;&ldqu
 o\;When the concert is over\, you&rsquo\;ll feel like you took a trip to
  the islands.&rdquo\; Pan Jive performs a smooth blend of Calypso\, Regg
 ae\, Ska\, Latin\, and Contemporary music through the unique island soun
 ds of the &ldquo\;Steel Drum&rdquo\;. &nbsp\;Utilizing coconut-sweet rhy
 thms from Trinidad and Jamaica\, Pan Jive swings a tropical groove to se
 nsibly compliment the beautiful summer weather of Southern California. T
 he band will also be performing at Pan American Park on August 5th at 4 
 pm. &ldquo\;Go to both concerts\, and you can go island hopping\, &ldquo
 \; Schipske adds. Following the concert\, there will be a special movie 
 screening of Disney's "The Muppets". &nbsp\;The Port of Long Beach will 
 provide free pizza during the concert\, and the Parks Recreation and Mar
