DESCRIPTION:The local group of Amnesty International is showing the film 
 Budrus.  Budrus tells the story of Ayed Morrar\, a Palestinian communit
 y organizer\, who unites Fatah and Hamas members along with Israeli supp
 orters in an unarmed movement to save his village of Budrus from destruc
 tion by Israel's Separation Barrier.  The Belmont / Watertown group of 
 Amnesty International has been working on behalf of Palestinian farmers 
 in Jayyus\, a similar town in Israeli occupied territory.  Because of t
 he Israeli fence\, many of the farmers in Jayyus have been denied regula
 r access to their lands\, which is the source of their livelihood.  The
  film will be followed by a discussion.
