Author Loh on Parenting, LEGO Club is Back, Book Fair Continues

Events occurring in Belmont on Thursday, Nov. 14.

1. Author Christine Gross-Loh will speak about her book "Parenting Without Borders: Surprising Lessons Parents Around the World Can Teach Us" at the Belmont Public Library at 7:30 p.m.  The book is about the world's best parenting strategies--with eye-opening research on the surprising disadvantages in the typical American childhood. All are welcome to attend this free program. Books will be available for sale and signing. 

2. It's back: LEGO Club for kindergarten through third grade at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the Belmont Public Library. Members will be creating their own unique LEGO structures. All LEGOs  will be provided so all you'll need to bring is your imagination!

3. The Wellington Elementary Book Fair continues today with the public welcome to get their holiday shopping done from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and then 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

4. The Belmont League of Women Voters is meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Staff Room of the Belmont Public Library.

5. The Library's Book Club for Elementary School students in the third and fourth grades will take place in the Flett Room from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.
