Belmont Idol Tonight at the High School, LEGO Club at the Library, League of Women Voters Meet

• American Idol? Who cares! Tonight, the greatest talent at Belmont High School will be on stage in the auditorium for the annual Belmont Idol competition. Musicians, rappers, dancers, soloists, groups, magicians and much more will performing beginning at 7 p.m. to win the coveted title of Belmont's own "Idol".  Students $5, Adults $7. 

• The Belmont Public Library's LEGO Club for children in kindergarten through the third grade will be held in the Library's Assembly Room from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. All LEGOs will be provided. Sign-up required so call the Children's Room at 617-993-2880.

• The Belmont League of Women Voters will be meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Flett Room at the Belmont Public Library.

• The Library's Book Club for Elementary School students in the third and fourth grades will take place in the Flett Room from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• The Boys' and Girls' basketball teams from the Chenery Middle School, the all mighty Cheetahs, will host Acton Middle School; the girls' at 3:30 p.m. and the boys' at 5 p.m.
