Caregivers Meeting at the Beech, Book Club for Middleschoolers, Lapsit Time

Events occurring in Belmont on Thursday, Jan. 16.

• A meeting of the Caregivers’ Group led by Beech Street Center's director, Nava Niv-Vogel will be held at 2 p.m. in Classroom B at the Beech Street Center.

• The Underwood Pool Building Committee is holding a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. to provide a preview of the latest design scheme for a new pool.

• The Book Club for Chenery Middle School students in fifth and sixth grades (the lower school) will be held from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Flett Room of the Belmont Public Library.

• Infant Lapsit Storytime at the Belmont Public Library is for infants and pre-walkers. Come enjoy songs, finger plays and rhymes chosen especially for our littlest readers. The fun starts in the Flett Room at 10:30 a.m.
