Preschool Halloween Concert at Library, Taxes Due Tomorrow and Benton Open
Events occurring in Belmont on Thursday, Oct. 31.
1. Get an early start on Halloween with your preschooler with Stacey Peasley and her band at the Belmont Public Library's Assembly Room for a rocking Halloween Concert beginning at 10:30 a.m. Don't forget your costumes!
2. The Belmont Field Hockey team will be playing Lexington at Lexington High School at 2 p.m. in the first round of the post-season tournament.
3. Second Quarter Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are due in the Belmont Treasurer's Office by Friday, Nov. 1, at 4 p.m.
4. The Belmont School Committee is meeting at the School Administration Building at 8 a.m. to review a request by the Community Path Advisory Committee to construct a pedestrian tunnel under the commuter rail line
5. The Benton Library at 75 Oakley Ave. will be open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
