Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation Grants $3,900 to Cooperative Elder Services

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. received a $3,900 grant this week from Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation.  Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) will use these generous funds to supplement the cost of nutritious meals for low-income elders.  Dedicated to serving the community, Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation supports local seniors and the needs of low-income populations.  CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord, serving 58 communities in greater Boston.  CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week.  The mission of CESI is to help elders remain in the community for as long as possible by maintaining their health and enhancing their quality of life.  To schedule a visit or find out more information, contact Esther Robbins at 781-641-1070 x2 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
