A Taste of Oil and Vinegar At Belmont's Farmers Market

Violinist and face painting at the events tent.

The Spirited Gourmet, the wine, beer and spirit store in Cushing Square, visits Belmont's award-winning Farmers Market with an oil and vinegar tasting at the start of the Market Day at 2 p.m.

The regular set of Market Day vendors are joined by occasional visitors the Westport Rivers Winery, Coutts Specialty Foods and Nobscot Artisan Cheese.

The market is located in the municipal parking lot at Cross Street and Channing Road in Belmont Center (just follow the signs behind the stores on Leonard Street).

The Market accepts and doubles SNAP benefits up to $25, so please spread the word so that more can take advantage of fresh food. Also, bring nonperishables to the Farmers Market tent to benefit the Belmont Food Pantry.
