After the Nor'easter On Slopes and Streets

While many spent time outside shoveling, others took to the hills of Belmont.

Despite arctic air that sent temperatures in the single digits and the wind chill index below zero, an inviting sun brought folks of all stripes outdoors Friday after the New Year's Nor'easter swept through Belmont, canceling school on the first two days after Winter Recess and keeping most people at home, away from school and work. One of several locations that residents congregated was Belmont's sledding sites including the Payson Park Reservoir and the Grove Street Playground.
