Alligood Honored as Health Science Librarian of the Year
For her outstanding contributions in the development of the VA New England digital Knowledge Library.
Elaine Alligood received the Massachusetts Health Science Libraries Network Paul Vaiginas Librarian of the Year Award last month.
The honor was presented to Alligood, (MLS., Chief Library Service) for her outstanding contributions in the development of the VA New England digital Knowledge Library and for her participation in the March 2013 Medical Library Association’s webcast on the librarian’s role in diagnostic error prevention.
Alligood is a member of the Belmont Board of Library Trustees.
The award was presented with a certificate and a scholarship for continuing education.
