Belmont Roadway Paving Underway in a Big Way

Road repaving over the next two days around Trapelo Road while they're digging up Pine Street for sewer and drain repairs.

Drivers attempting to reach Waverley Square from the Town Field neighborhood will likely be fighting detours and heavy equipment for the next two days as road construction underway in a big way. 

And while residents will be impacted by the hot asphalt being laid on their streets, they must secretly be cheering the thought of a new road for the coming winter season.  

Scheduled for the next two days, E.H. Perkins Construction will be paving these roads:

  • White Street (from Trapelo Road to Grant Avenue)
  • Grant Avenue
  • A Street
  • B Street
  • C Street
  • Hawthorne Street
  • Cambridge Street
  • Davis Road
  • Harris Street
  • Irving Street
  • Sycamore Street (from White Street to Trapelo Road)
If you travel down Trapelo Road from where the road reconstruction work is being performed to the intersection of Belmont Street, you'll run into more roadwork as excavation for sewer and drain repairs is being done along Pine Street.
