Beginning today, Monday, Oct. 28, Leonard Street will be closed from Pleasant Street to Alexander Avenue as part of the repaving of Belmont Center.
The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Expect detours along Pleasant Street towards Concord Avenue and from Leonard Street to Cross Street.

The work, under the supervision of the Belmont Department of Public Works, will continue for three days, scheduled to finish on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Beginning Halloween night, two weeks worth of repaving will begin in Belmont Center overnight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Questions relating to the project or schedule should be directed to the Water Division office at 617-993- 2700 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 1 p.m. on Friday.
