Learn All About Town Meeting Articles at League of Women Voters Forum Tonight

Find out everything about what will be before the Special Town Meeting on Nov. 4.

In one week, the Belmont Special Town Meeting will be taking up four major articles on Monday, Nov. 4.

While some many may know what the issues of each article are about – snow shoveling the sidewalk, yard sales, a new High School turf field and putting nearly 200 homes on a demolition delay list – they might not know the important details for each.

Tonight, Monday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. at the Beech Street Center, 266 Beech St., Town Meeting members and the public can get answers to any and all questions about the articles at a Warrant Briefing sponsored by the Belmont League of Women Voters.

Co-sponsored by the Warrant Committee and the Belmont League of Women Voters Education Fund, representatives of town departments, boards and committees will attend the briefing to provide all the information you will need to now.

Town Moderator Michael Widmer asks that all Town Meeting members should attempt to attend the briefing to have questions answered before the Special Time Meeting.

You can view the warrant at the Belmont Town Clerk's web site.
