Let's Get Busy: Road Work All Around Belmont This Week
All this work part of fall construction season.
With about two months remaining in the fall building season, crews have increased the pace of work on the myriad of projects around Belmont that require rebuilding roads or perform maintenance on town infrastructure.
What it means for Belmont drivers and commuters is that they need to prepare for construction teams in the street resulting in delays and, in some cases, detours.
Belmont's contracted road reconstruction contractor E.H. Perkins Construction will be preparing roads – which includes manhole covers will be raised on the streets – for repaving so use caution driving on these streets:
- White Street (Trapelo Road to Grant Avenue)
- Grant Avenue
- A Street
- B Street
- C Street
- Hawthorne Street
- Cambridge Street
- Davis Road
- Harris Street
- Irving Street
- Sycamore Street (White Street to Trapelo Road)
- Springfield Street
- Park Road
- Dalton Road
- Hamilton Street
This week, sewer and drain relining will be occurring on:
- Pine Street
- Cottage Street
- Baker Street
- Cottage Street
- TrowbridgeStreet
- Alexander Avenue
- Brighton Street
- Chilton Street
Additional work will be occurring on:
- Audubon Lane
- Country Club Lane
- Hough Road
- Pleasant Street
