It may be late in the growing year, especially in New England, but shoppers will discover plenty of produce and fruit in season: apples, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celeriac, celery, garlic, herbs, kale, leeks, lettuce, melons, onions, parsley, parsnips, pears, potatoes, pumpkins, raspberries, rutabagas, spinach, swiss chard, turnips and winter squash.
This week's occasional vendors are Coastal Vineyards, Coutts Specialty Foods, Sara Ran Away with the Spoon and Underwood Greenhouses join the regular vendors from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Belmont Center parking lot on Claflin Road.
