Joyful Voices in Belmont Saturday

Upcoming gospel concert at the United Methodist Church will benefit three food pantries in Belmont and Watertown.

Last year, 140 people saw and heard the Joyful Voices of Inspiration – a 40 member, non-denominational, multi-cultural chorus made up of singers from Boston and various suburban towns – give an inspirational gospel concert at the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Watertown.

This Saturday at 3 p.m., JVOI will be back for a repeat performance at the Belmont & Watertown United Methodist Church's Sanctuary in Cushing Square.

The concert will again be a fundraiser for three local food pantries; the Belmont Food Pantry, the Watertown Food Pantry and the St. Patrick’s Food Pantry in Watertown. Last year, the concert raised over $1,000 after expenses that were shared among the food pantries.
