Annual Record Memorial Concert Set for Jan. 26

Chamber group The Record Players holding its 13th annual concert at First Church.

The local chamber group, The Record Players, will be holding its 13th annual concert for the benefit of the Judith K. Record Memorial Conservation Fund on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. at .

The Judith K. Record Memorial Conservation Fund and the Players in bringing together people who find inspiration and beauty through music and nature.

The program will feature classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan who will perform a world premiere of a piece composed for him by Maine composer Thomas L. Read.

Other members of The Record Players are founder and flutist Andrea Mason Nolin, violinist Colin Davis, guest violinist Natalie Favarolo, cellist Sarah Freiberg, clarinetist Ray Jackendoff and violist Kenneth Stalberg.

Chamber music by Boccherini, Mozart and Eespere is also on the program.

Generous individual and corporate sponsorships of the concert, as well as donations at the door, support the Fund's ongoing efforts to assist the Town in protecting its conservation land. The Fund provides grant money for special projects such as improvement of the trail system and signage. 

Tax deductible gifts may be made to Mass Audubon/JKR  Fund, P.O. Box 79138, Belmont, MA 02478. All proceeds from the concert go to the Fund’s endowment managed by Mass Audubon.
