Belmont Goes Back To School Tomorrow

The first day will be an early one just like every Wednesday this school year.

Tomorrow, between 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, Belmont's sidewalks will be crowded with parents and children while town streets will see kids on bikes and teens in cars. They will be coming in groups, in pairs or by themselves, all with the same destination: the school house.

Tomorrow, the Belmont School District begins the 2013-14 year with the first day of school.

And on this inaugural day, schools throughout the district will be releasing early as they will every Wednesday through the school year. The earlier release time allows teachers to participate in Professional Learning Teams.
