‘Beefsteak’ Restaurant Coming to Old Polaroid Site in Waltham

The restaurant is expected to open at the end of this year.

An 8,000-square-foot “beefsteak” restaurant is coming to the former Polaroid site in Waltham.

“Flank, The New American Beefsteak” will feature cuts not usually found on restaurant and steakhouse menus, such as flank, skirt, hanger and coulotte, according to a BostInno report. As with traditional beefsteak restaurants, silverware will be optional.

Greg Hill, host of WAAF’s “Hill-man Morning Show,” is behind the new venture, moving into the 280,000-square-foot mixed-use development at 1265 Main St.
