Belmont Bakers Taking Part in Boston 'Bakes for Breast Cancer'

Glutenus Minimus and Vicki Lee's joins the fundraiser now through Mother's Day, May 12.

You have until the Mother's Day weekend to visit two great Belmont bakeries to both satisfy your sweet tooth and join the fight against cancer.

Glutenus Minimus, at 697 Belmont St., and Vicki Lee's in the heart of Cushing Square at 105 Trapelo Rd. have joined nearly 300 participanting bakeries and stores in more than 90 Massachusetts communities supporting "Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer."

Both businesses have created a special dessert and included it on their menu, with proceeds from that dessert benefiting cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc., a non-profit breast cancer organization.
