Best of Patch: Belmont's Favorite Sandwich or Wrap

In our inaugural poll, Patch asks you to share your favorite sandwich/wrap shop.

Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off this week by honoring Lord Sandwich.

We're looking for the best place in town that makes sandwiches or wraps.

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

C.E. Restaurant, 271 Belmont St.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us what your favorite place. And don't forget to tell us in the comments below why.

Please add Lorenzo's Sandwich Shop in Belmont to this list - I cannot believe it is not on there - it is a Belmont institution!!!
Franklin Tucker (Editor) February 29, 2012 at 08:34 PM
I totally agree, eva. Lorenzo's is a Belmont - California - institution, but not so much here in Belmont, Massachusetts. I did read the menu and it does have interesting sandwiches although here near Boston, our Italian sandwich shops use much more olive oil than all that mayo.

Franklin Tucker (Editor) March 01, 2012 at 11:10 AM
I must say, it is the place for a beloved hot dog between the first and second. And the mustard is free.
