Midnight (Shopping) Madness Tonight in Belmont Center

Fourth annual event will bring out the shoppers tonight.

Have you put off doing your Christmas shopping? Missed out on Black Friday? Drove by the malls on the weekends? Well, tonight there will be a more neighborly approach to holiday shopping as Leonard Street retailers will open their doors beginning at 6 p.m. for a night of shopping in the fourth annual Midnight Madness in Belmont Center.

With Belmont Center alight after last week's Tree Lighting, customers will have the chance to indulge in refreshments and treats while shopping with friends and family with a chance to find sales from some of their favorite stores along Belmont's high street.

Starting at 6 p.m. and running through midnight, participating businesses – which will be serving cider, treats and even Champagne – will be offering savings with additional markdowns each hour. Discounts start at 5 percent off and will grew every hour or so until the stroke of midnight with most stores going up in their markdowns to 20 percent to 25 percent off.
