Top Banana Education Foundation Announces a New Board Member

Newton, MA – June 28, 2013 – Top Banana Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on development of brain-based learning curricula in Mathematics, English, Science and Information Technology for school-aged children, announces that Lennox Chase has joined its Board of Directors.

 “We are extremely pleased to have Lennox join the Top Banana board to help us further our long-standing efforts to revolutionize the way children learn and develop material and teacher training programs to support it,” said Top Banana founder and CEO, Alex Seriy.  “He is a respected member of the business community and committed to the cause of providing our young with the opportunities to realize their full academic potentials. As the Foundation delves further into expanding its programs, we are confident that his leadership and positive direction will be valuable additions to our already influential board.”

Mr. Chase graduated from Northeastern University School of Law and resides in Norwood, MA. He is the founder and owner of Chase Legal Services in Walpole, MA and the owner of MyBarPrep, an A+ rated company that provides tutoring services to law students and lawyers.  In addition to becoming our new board member, Lennox serves on the boards of Needham Bank and Casa Myrna as well as being very involved in his community. Lennox aids Needham Bank in helping to support their mission of putting the most value in their surrounding community and donating money to benefit the community as a whole. He is also the Clerk on the Board of Leadership at Casa Myrna, a charitable organization whose goal is to end domestic and dating violence, and a Professional Advisor for the Boston Foundation, one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the nation.

 “As a first-generation college graduate, I have enjoyed the empowering benefits that come from a life-long love of learning. Being part of Needham Bank has reminded me to never forget a company's commitment to the local community. Consequently, I strongly support Top Banana's efforts in creating better learners and better-informed citizens,” said Chase.

Lennox is a blogger for Boston.com, and is involved with the community as an Advisor for the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, Treasurer for Orient Lodge in Norwood and Trustee for The Angel Fund, a private organization that provides modest assistance for children in need who do not fit the criteria for the usual social-service programs.
