5 Things: Brendan's Home Run, More Road Work

Events occurring in Belmont on Monday, June 10.

1. Infrastructure work continues down the road as Insituform Technologies will begin sewer and drain repairs on Moraine and Sycamore streets and Trapelo Road beginning at 7 a.m. but only if the weather permits it. 

2. The 12th Annual Brendan's Home Run 5k walk and run will be held Sunday June 16 at Belmont High School track. Sign up online here. This special Father's Day event is presented by: Belmont Savings BankFitness Together Belmont, and the Belmont Dental Group, with contributing support provided by: Wheelworks, Champions Sporting Goods, Belmont Lions Club, and Alan & Isabelle DerKazarian. All proceeds benefit The Brendan Grant Foundation.

4. Residents seeking to close down a segment of a public street for the purpose of hosting a neighborhood block party or public event must fill out this form and submit it along with a $25.00 check payable to the “Town of Belmont” to the Town Administrator/Board of Selectmen’s Office at Town Hall.
