5 Things: Chenery Concert, League Meeting, Lap Stories

Events occurring in Belmont on April 11.

1. The annual Chenery Middle School Honors Concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the school's auditorium. It's free and will be a great night of music by a talented group of kids.

2. The Belmont League of Women Voters invite members and the general public to attend the league's Board meeting at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Flett Room of the Belmont Public Library.

3. The monthly book discussion group for third and fourth grade elementary school students will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Flett Room (across from the Children's Room) of the Belmont Public Library.

4. Belmont Against Racism will be holding its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Staff Room of the Belmont Public Library. Belmont Against Racism promotes dialogue, awareness, and understanding about prejudice and celebrates diversity in Belmont.

5. Infant Lapsit Storytime is for infants and pre-walkers. Enjoy songs, finger plays, and rhymes chosen especially for our littlest readers of the Belmont Public Library. The sit down takes place between 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Flett Room across from the Children's Room.
