5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 11
School concerts galore today, kindergarten info at the Winn Brook and bridge at the Beech.
1. It's springtime and that means a lot of school concerts including three today!
• The Chenery Middle School's fifth grade Choral Program gets underway at 9 a.m. at the auditorium.
• The Chenery Honors Concert scheduled for Thursday, April 12, has been rescheduled to tonight at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

• The Belmont High School Spring Choral Concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
2. Kindergarten Parent Information Night at the School takes place tonight at 7 p.m. It's a general information and orientation program for all parents of incoming kindergarten students.

3. Just a few days left until federal and state taxes are due on April 17th – yes, Massachusetts taxpayers have two extra days to hand in their taxes due to Patriot's Day – and Tax Preparation Assistance is still available with IRS Certified AARP tax counselors at the . Appointments are 90 minutes in length and are free of charge since preparers cannot accept payment. Donations to the Senior Center are graciously accepted in recognition of exceptional service. A few appointments remain until April 13.
3. Duplicate Bridge Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the at 266 Beech St. Every Wednesday the club holds American Contact Bridge League-sanctioned games. All are welcome to play. Cost is $5. Phone: 339-223-6484 for more information.
4. It's Storytime for 1's for walkers and toddlers under 24 months. Share simple stories, songs, finger plays, nursery rhymes, and puppets from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the downstairs.
