5 Things You Need to Know Today: December 6

Honors concert at the Chenery, Will is holding office hours and Manny is back at the Beech, dancing.

1. It's music for the holidays: The Chenery Middle School Honors Concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the Chenery Middle School auditorium.  

2. State Sen. Will Brownsberger will be holding office hours from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Historical Society's Claflin Room at the Belmont Public Library. 

3. The Beech Street Center's Line Dance teacher Manny Correia has returned and will be holding classes at 11 a.m. on Thursdays. Sign up for the class before or the day of the class. The cost is $50 for eight classes.

4. Infant Lapsit Storytime is for infants and pre-walkers.  Enjoy songs, finger plays, and rhymes chosen especially for our littlest readers in the Flett Room (across from the Children's Room) from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Belmont Public Library.

5. Yoga tonight in Gardiner Hall at Plymouth Congregational Church at 582 Pleasant St. at 7 p.m. (Enter on Alexander Street). Taught by professionals in the Vinyasa style.  Bring your own mat.  All levels welcome. $10 per class. Free parking on Pleasant, Leonard and behind Macy's. All proceeds benefit Plymouth Nursery School.
