Belmont's Annual King Community Breakfast Today at 8:45 AM

Jean McGuire, executive director of METCO, Inc., will be the keynote speaker.

Jean McGuire, executive director of METCO, Inc., the Metropolitan Council on Educational Opportunity, is the keynote speaker at Belmont's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast today from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Belmont High School cafeteria.

There will also be reflections by METCO alumni of the Belmont schools. 

Music by provided by gospel singer Darlene Wynn and award-winning Berklee College of Music faculty member Nichelle Mungo.

Supervised children activities with Mr. S. for children 6 to 11; while child-care for those under 5 will be provided by the Belmontian Club. 

This event will have sign language interpreters.

Tickets are $5 per person and $10 per family. Proceeds will go to benefit the METCO Support Fund.
