A blocked sewer line and the current repair effort on Concord Avenue has created headaches for the already crushing morning rush hour commute in and around Belmont Center this morning, Monday, Sept. 23.
The blockage between Pleasant and Leonard streets - across from Town Hall - has resulted in the closure of Concord. This has created detours for traffic coming to and from Belmont Hill and Mill Street.
Those traveling to Belmont Center should be advised to avoid the area until the repairs are finished some time this afternoon.
