Detours On Channing, Slade Due To Infrastructure Repair

Crews are tearing up roadways throughout Belmont requiring detours from poplar routes in town.

The most disruptive is on Channing Road at Claflin Street where large equipment is preparing the street for pipe repairs. Those residents who shop at the weekly Belmont Farmers Market will need to take the Alexander Avenue entrance to get to the municipal parking lot where the market takes place.

Repairs are also taking place on Slade Street, blocking the street Creeley Road to Horace and Upland roads.

Finally, Thayer Road has some kind of road work going on at the corner of Lexington Street.
