FBE Live Auction: A Week on Nantucket in July

A week's worth of auction items anyone can bid on to support education in Belmont.

The annual Foundation for Belmont Education "Big Birthday Bash" fundraiser this Saturday, March 16 has sold out. If you are going the the shindig or have been shut out, you can help the foundation's work supporting Belmont's six public schools by bidding on a great deal of outstanding live auction items that are online. 

For the next week, each day Belmont Patch will highlight one of the items up for bid.

Nantucket Family Vacation

It’s been a long winter. Time to start dreaming of summer, sun and the beach! How perfect does a wonderful home on Nantucket sound for your next family vacation? This home sleeps eight (two adult bedrooms, one bunk bed, and a pull out couch in an adjoining bunk house), is fully equipped (sheets, towels, washer/dryer, beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, etc.), and is a short walk – with your hip new beach bag from Bells and Whistles (value $30) – to Surfside Beach. Choose one of two prime weeks in July (see below). You will also enjoy a $100 gift certificate towards dinner on the deck of Faregrounds Pudley's Pub, Nantucket's family restaurant and sports bar. Time to start thinking about ocean breezes and sand between your toes!

Conditions: Winning bidder will select one of two weeks – July 6-13, 2013, or July 20-27, 2013 – and provide the date selection to the owner by April 15. Rental includes cleaning and two trash pickups.
