Need a Ride to Vote? The Belmont League of Women Voters Will Help

League of Women Voters volunteers will take those who require help to the polls.

There's a general Special Election Tuesday, Dec. 10 to replace Edward Markey as US Representative for Massachusetts' 5th district.

And as with all elections in Belmont, any voter can obtain a free ride to the polls courtesy of the Belmont League of Women Voters.

For some residents, the opporunity to vote is hampered by limited mobility or the lack of transportation to the polls which are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For those voters, the Belmont League is here to assist them. League volunteers will drive voters from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to their local precinct to make their selections Monday, I mean Tuesday.

Call 617-771-8500 or e-mail, Rides@BelmontLWV.org , to schedule a ride.
