Piano Celebration!
First Church in Belmont's 19th Annual Piano Celebration concert is this Saturday, January 25th at 8:00 p.m. There will be a delightfully eclectic program, including genres such as classical, jazz, ethnic, popular, swing, and some surprises! (Hold onto your hats!!) Attendees will hear music of Bach, Beethoven, Granados, Joplin, Schubert, Satie, Ravel, Herbie Hancock, David "Fathead" Newman, and Larry Melnick among others.Performers include: Cary Bullock, Richard Curzi, Ian Garvie, Mariko Findell together with Vicky Livermore, Eddie Hutchison, Larry Melnick, Michael Serio, Mary Beekman, Shannon Rose Garvie, and Serge Paul-Emile.
The concert will be followed by a reception with refreshments. The church is fully accessible and comfortable for all.
Tickets are $10 and are available at the door as well as at the church office. Proceeds will be used to maintain and repair the pianos and organ at First Church in Belmont.
