A fllm screening, panel, and discussion of "What Makes Me White"

The Belmont Human Rights Commission, Belmont Media Center, and Belmont Against Racism present "What Makes Me White?"

NEW VENUE: BELMONT MEDIA CENTER

Designed as a gentle tool for diversity training workshops, WHAT MAKES ME WHITE is a personal and poetic exploration of whiteness as a learned racial identity. Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Aimée Sands takes a uniquely inquiring approach in this documentary, inviting audiences to ask new questions of themselves about the role of race in their lives.
A panel discussion will follow the viewing of the film.  This program is designed for adults and high school students.
Light refreshment will be served.
