ATTN: Veterans and Supporters 4th Annual Dinner Social Get Your Tickets Now

4th Annual Dinner Social which will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Hillview Country Club, 149 North Street, North Reading from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.  It is an afternoon of gathering and honoring our Veterans and Warriors for their Service and Sacrifice.

This year we are honored to be in the presence of Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Thomas G. Kelley, US Navy-Vietnam 1969.  The Congressional Medal of Honor perpetuates a legacy of courage, sacrifice and patriotism.   It is the highest Military Award for wartime acts of valor in action against an enemy force.  Captain Thomas G. Kelley was awarded the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty in June 1969 while serving as US Navy Lieutenant Commander of River Assault Division 152 during combat operations in Vietnam.  Captain Kelley was in charge of a column of eight river assault craft which were extracting one company of US Army infantry troops on the east bank of the Ong Muong Canal in Kien Hoa Province.

Please join us on this special day.  Let us give Captain Thomas Kelley a warm welcome and show of support and gratitude. Included in the afternoon program are the 25th Marine Regiment Color Guard, Lynn English ROTC Drill Team, live presentation of the POW/MIA Table Ceremony, Local and State Official Guest Speakers, and music by DJ Jerry O.  Tickets $25 per person (includes appetizers and full plated dinner)
